Church of Agnostic Freedom

Welcome to the Church of Agnostic Freedom

We are a community dedicated to exploring the principles of agnosticism and promoting a life guided by a collection of virtues. Our mission is to create a space where individuals can openly discuss their beliefs and values without fear of judgment or condemnation.

At the Church of Agnostic Freedom, we believe that every person has the right to seek their own truth and to make choices that align with their personal values. Our guiding principles are centered on Openness, Inquiry, Acceptance, Reason, Education, Doubt, Respect, Integrity, and Love. By embracing these virtues, we strive to promote personal growth, foster understanding, and create a more compassionate and accepting world.

We are a new Church and still building our ministry, our goal is to make positives impacts both in our members personal growth and the communities in which they live. Whether you're new to agnosticism or have been practicing for years, we welcome you to join our community and explore the freedom of agnostic thought.

Thank you for visiting the Church of Agnostic Freedom, more website content coming soon!

The Nine Virtues of Kingsly

At the Church of Agnostic Freedom, we believe in living a life guided by the Nine Virtues of Kingsly. These virtues are inspired by both secular and religious values, and promote personal growth, understanding, and compassion. The Nine Virtues are divided into three groups, each with its own set of guiding principles.

Group 1: Inquiry, Openness, and Acceptance

The first group of virtues focuses on how we interact with the world around us. Inquiry encourages us to seek knowledge and understanding, while Openness reminds us to approach new ideas with an open mind to all possibilities. Acceptance teaches us to embrace diversity and respect the beliefs and values of others. Acceptance also grounds us in reality. It is helpful to simply accept oneself as a real human thing experiencing a real world, rather than wasting too much time exploring the metaphysical.

Group 2: Reason, Education, and Doubt

The second group of virtues centers on building our minds and promoting intellectual growth. Reason encourages us to use logic and critical thinking to make informed decisions, while Education emphasizes the importance of learning and expanding our knowledge. Doubt reminds us to question our assumptions and challenge our beliefs to promote personal growth and understanding.

Group 3: Respect, Integrity, and Love

The third group of virtues focuses on how we treat ourselves and others. Respect teaches us to value the dignity and worth of all individuals, while Integrity emphasizes the importance of honesty and personal responsibility. Love encourages us to show compassion and kindness to others, promoting a more peaceful and harmonious world.

By living our lives guided by the Nine Virtues of Kingsly, we strive to promote personal growth, understanding, and compassion. We invite you to explore these virtues further and discover how they can help you on your spiritual journey.
